@pureNheart In my experience the settled account has shown in less than 30 days. Usually in approx. two weeks. But if it doesnt you can send proof to the CB’s and they will update your information.
Or you can wait a month or two and then dispute the item and see if it just falls off your report. (perhaps if the debt is paid the CA wont bother to verify)
I would however never call a collection agency, send everything in writting so you have a definitive papertrail. everything in writting.
